The dwelling is placed under pressure to ensure that any emissions from the dwelling are controlled. A ventilaiton system is set up that draws fresh air into the dwelling and exhaust emission filled air from the dwelling via carbon filters (below), which trap all particulate matter and odour from the potentially deadly chemical emissions that may be trapped in the dwelling. This ventilation continues until the remediation is complete and is stopped only for a short while during the remediation process.
