This immediate or short term relief is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week (emergency 24 hr contact number 0409 006 005) and would typically follow on after emergency services have completed their requirements. This can include plumbing and electrical services, fencing and alarming and monitoring, through to ventilating of the premises. LONG TERM TREATMENT (PERMANENT RELIEF) Whether the property has been infiltrated by drugs, sewerage or animals or whether there has been a death within the perimeter of the dwelling, the procedures for dealing with each and every distressed property are essentially the same. Secure The external and internal perimeters of the premises are immediately secured and made safe. More details >>> Once secured the premises are then contained and made safe from any chemical purging or emissions from the dwelling which may impact upon people or animals in the immediate vicinity. More details >>> On securing and containing the premises, all surfaces and the entire premises and everything within it are inspected and tested for chemical corruption and damage. More details >>> Discard, Pull down and Storage Once everything has been inspected and tested, all items which cannot be safely restored are prepared ready for discarding.
